About Donna

In this world there are “dreamers, shapers, singers and makers.” I’m with them.

By profession, I’m a writer, astrologer and entrepreneur. I’m a catalyst for change, in myself and others. My mission: to live creatively with passion, purpose, abundance and joy, and empower others to do the same. Blending astrology, business acumen and my metaphysical training, I help my clients find creative solutions to life’s challenges.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a journalist, translator, fundraiser and non-profit organizer. I’m also the co-founder of GNO515 Media, an internet marketing and development company whose aim is to empower the world’s cultural creatives to translate their vision and passion to the digital world.

My seeking mind never rests, always wondering what’s beyond the river bend. My search has taken me places I could never have imagined. I’m an initiate of the Australian branch of the Hermetic Order of the Brotherhood of Light, under the guidance of “white witch” Leonora “Sageylee” Jackson. I’ve studied hands-on healing, dreamwork, channeling and ceremonial leadership with eco-feminist Eileen “ike” West. And I received my hypnosis certification with world-renown hypnotist Mark Cunningham.

I  love to splash and play in the astrological community pool. I’m currently a member of the International Society for Astrological Research‘s Board of Directors and an editor for the Astrology News Service.  I also founded the Astrological Society of Austin and served as membership director for the National Council of Geocosmic Research.

For me, teaching is both fun and an honor. I’m a member of the faculty at Kepler College. I’ve  lectured across Texas at the Astrological Society of Austin, the San Antonio Astrological Society, Astrological Society of North Texas, NCGR Gulf Coast Chapter (Houston). In 2012 I’ll be speaking at the Friends of Astrology in Chicago and UAC, the largest astrology conference worldwide.

I live with my beautiful daughter in Austin, Texas.
